Popular Ghanaian Pastor Makes a Statement About Jesus That Gets People Talking

Ghanaian religious leader and politician Christian Kwabena Andrew, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has sparked fresh debate with his views about Jesus Christ and heaven.

According to a statement circulating online, Kyiri Abosom said his 28 years in ministry had changed his understanding of Christianity.

“I have been a pastor for 28 years, and I have come to realise that Jesus Christ isn’t real and that Heaven doesn’t exist. It is a scam. Don’t let anyone deceive you.”

His statement quickly attracted reactions from Christians and social media users. Some accused him of misleading his followers, while others questioned why he remained in Christian ministry despite rejecting major Christian beliefs.

Kyiri Abosom’s latest remarks follow similar statements he has made in previous interviews.

He has repeatedly questioned the existence of heaven and hell. He has also rejected the belief that Christians must use the name of Jesus before their prayers can reach God.

During an earlier interview, the religious leader said he believed people should pray directly to God instead of relying on Jesus as a mediator.

He has also questioned parts of the Bible and argued that some Christian teachings do not make sense to him.

Despite the criticism, Kyiri Abosom continues to defend his views. He presents his position as a personal understanding developed through his years in ministry.

His comments have reopened discussions about religious leadership, personal belief and whether someone who rejects central Christian teachings should continue to describe himself as a pastor.
