Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola, has spoken on the need for opening up when going through difficult times rather than keeping quiet.
Speaking at the candlelight and night of tribute for Temitope Osoba, the actress touched on the heavy burden of private struggles, reminding attendees that not everyone possesses the strength to bear them alone.
Daramola explained that most people tend to keep quiet because they fear being judged.
“We don’t speak out, maybe because of shaming. We can be there for one another. You understand, but honestly, people have different things they are going through. It is when we wear clothes that we feel that everything is okay. We are a whole lot; before we remember everyone, it will be difficult. Please, if you have issues, speak out, so we can help each other. We can’t blame anyone for not being there, because we all have our own personal issues,” she said.
