PHCN official escapes d£ath by a whisker after suffering an electric shock while working on a pole in Lagos (video)

An official of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria PHCN escaped de@th by a whisker after suffering an electric shock while working on a power pole in Gbagada, Lagos. 

The worker and his team visited the area to carry out repairs on a power line. While he was up on the pole, he suffered a sudden electric shock that left him with burns on parts of his body.

A video currently going viral on social media shows the dramatic moment his colleagues worked together to bring him down safely. The victim could be seen writhing in pain as he was lowered from the pole.

He was quickly rushed to the hospital and is currently responding well to treatment.
