PFIPC Scandal: ‘Any Moment From Now, I Will Go To DSS’ – Adeyemi

Adeniyi Adeyemi, linked to the controversial Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), has said he is ready to submit himself and all documents in his possession to the Department of State Services (DSS) or the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to assist investigations into the controversy surrounding the alleged agency.

Naija News reports that Adeyemi made this known during a conversation with social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

The Presidency had earlier maintained that the PFIPC did not exist, a position communicated by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, amid growing concerns about the purported council’s operations.

Reacting to the controversy, Adeyemi said he was willing to fully cooperate with security agencies or any panel set up by President Bola Tinubu to establish the facts behind the matter.

He said he would soon report to either the DSS or the police, along with all relevant documents in his possession, for proper verification.

According to him, the documents should be authenticated by the appropriate authorities to enable investigators to determine how the agency came about and those responsible for its creation and operations.

He further stated, “I’m willing and ready to help security agencies or panel set up by Mr President to unravel the truth. In fact, any moment from now, I will go to DSS or the police to submit all the documents I have to help them investigate and look into this matter.”

Adeyemi added that he had nothing to hide and was prepared to allow the security agencies to examine the records in his possession.

“You will see any moment from now, I will go. I’ll go to any DSS to submit my document, all I have. They should authenticate it. They should verify it. Then they should unravel the truth,” he added.
