Parkgoer thrown from roller coaster in terrifying freak accident: video

Terrifying video shows a tourist being thrown from a roller coaster at an amusement park in Ecuador.

The thrill-seeker is shown flying roughly 13 feet from the ride as it zips across the track in Guayaquil— causing her serious injuries, according to viralpress.com.

Other riders can be heard screaming in horror during the freak accident at Parque Samanes on Monday, according to the report.

Stunned amusement park-goers rushed to her side, and she was taken to a hospital for urgent treatment.

She was not wearing a seatbelt on the “min-rollercoaster,” local media reported.

Officials closed the amusement park for a day while authorities investigated whether mechanical failures or safety breaches contributed to the incident.

Some employees said the woman may have fainted during the ride, causing her to lose her balance, according to a preliminary report. Her condition was not known Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
