Oyo: Delay Prosecution Of Those Arrested Will Create Another Impression That Something Is Wrong–Ningi

According to a report by Daily Post, on Wednesday July 15, 2026, Senator Abdul Ningi, who represents Bauchi Central Senatorial District, has called on security agencies to ensure that those linked to the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State are quickly prosecuted.

‎The lawmaker made the appeal during a Senate session while reacting to the recent rescue of the victims who were held captive for several weeks, the abduction took place in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, where armed men attacked schools and kidnapped pupils, students, and teachers, the victims were taken from Baptist Nursery and Primary School, LA Primary School, and Community Grammar School.
