Omah Lay reverts to Christianity from Islam, says he relate more with Bible

Popular Nigerian singer Omah Lay appears to have returned to Christianity after previously exploring Islam, sparking discussions among fans on social media.

The Rivers-born singer, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, had hinted a few years ago that he had converted to Islam — a move that surprised many of his followers.

However, in a recent post shared on Snapchat, Omah Lay revealed that he has gone back to reading the Bible, suggesting a spiritual shift back to his birth religion.

“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” he wrote, hinting at a change in his spiritual journey.

Omah Lay’s post has elicited mixed reactions from fans. While some praised his honesty and respect for personal faith, others expressed curiosity about what influenced his decision to return to Christianity.
