Olatunde Abiodun arrested in Los Angeles, faces deportation

Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, a 53-year-old Nigerian citizen, was arrested in Los Angeles on April 21, 2026, by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Olusanjo is currently in ICE custody, where he is facing deportation proceedings.

According to ICE, Olusanjo’s arrest follows prior charges for child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct.

These criminal allegations were key in his detention, with ICE authorities confirming that the Nigerian national had a history of serious criminal offenses, which led to his current incarceration.

The arrest occurred after immigration authorities identified Olusanjo, who was previously involved in legal issues in the U.S. His prior convictions contributed to the decision to take him into custody, with ICE continuing its effort to remove him from the United States.
