Professor Okey Ikechukwu, Executive Director of Development Specs Academy and Visiting Professor of Social and Management Science, has challenged opposition parties, particularly Peter Obi, to demonstrate the practical political work they have undertaken since the 2023 general election to convert public dissatisfaction into electoral success.
According to a video posted by Arise News on Friday, June 26, 2026, Ikechukwu made the remarks while speaking on the broadcaster’s morning programme, where he assessed the preparedness of political parties ahead of the 2027 general election.
He acknowledged that many Nigerians are dissatisfied with the current state of the country but argued that public frustration alone is insufficient to secure victory at the polls.
