Niniola shares cryptic message shortly after laying husband to rest

Nigerian singer and songwriter Niniola Apata has shared a cryptic message shortly after laying her late husband, Michael, to rest.

The singer via her Instagram page spoke about familial bond, noting that although people expect it to be the strongest type of bond, that is not always the case.

Although the singer did not mention names in her post, she stated that death reveals people’s true colours, insinuating that she felt wronged.

”Sometimes it is better to have pure WATER run through your veins than BLOOD that is supposed to be thicker. Death let’s you see people’s true form,” she wrote.

The singer who laid her husband to rest during the week, had reflected on the void his death has left in her life.

“The first person I saw in the morning was Michael and the last person before I closed my eyes was Michael, so now what do I do? Tell me what do I do? Michael was the best thing and best person that ever happened to me. There was nothing he could do that could make me leave him. And to the Ndika family, thank you for Michael. I know this came as a surprise to everyone, I’m sorry. Some people felt offended,” she stated during the service.
