Newlywed reveals warnings she gave to MC ahead of her wedding

A newlywed has revealed the topics she warned her MC to avoid speaking on at her wedding. 

Theresa Bassey went viral after revealing how she and her asoebi ladies reacted when the Chairman at her wedding began preaching to her about submission (read here). 
 

Now, she has made another post, insisiting that she and her friends don’t subscribe to submission. 
 

She also revealed that besides warning her MC not to discuss submission, she also warned him about other topics to avoid. 

She wrote: “Another thing I made sure did not happen at my wedding was body shaming, I told my Event planner to have a meeting with the MC’s. 
“Please things to note to the MC
1. No sexist jokes or comment
2. ⁠No submission talk
3. ⁠No patriarchal talk.
4. ⁠No body shaming jokes 
“I was not about to bring my women from UK, Lagos, US, Abuja and all the corners of Nigeria to be insulted. 
“Thank you to all my beautiful ladies who came to show up and show off for me 
“I repeat we do not submit here, that word is not in my family vocabulary, we only love, respect and communicate with each other as adults. Go and practice your submission elsewhere.”
