Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has showered praise on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the President has successfully steered Nigeria away from the brink of collapse and placed the country on a path of stability and recovery.

Speaking during an event attended by the President, Uzodinma described Tinubu as the “founder of the new Nigeria” and credited his administration with introducing innovative policies that have positively impacted governance across the country.

The governor said state governments have benefited significantly from the President’s leadership style and reforms, adding that subnational administrations remain grateful for the support and interventions received from the Federal Government.

“As a president, you are the founder of the new Nigeria. We are the frontline beneficiaries of the innovative approach you brought to bear in governance,” Uzodinma said.

According to him, Tinubu inherited a nation facing severe challenges but has since succeeded in restoring hope and stability.

He argued that the President’s policies have helped Nigeria move away from what he described as a dangerous path toward collapse.

“You have virtually recovered Nigeria from the road of collapse to that of stability and survival. We, as field officers at the subnational level, are indeed very, very grateful,” he stated.

In a strong endorsement of the administration’s performance, Uzodinma revealed that governors and stakeholders who have assessed the President’s work were satisfied with the results achieved so far.

“We have assessed your performance, and Mr. President, I am happy to announce that we have scored your performance 100 percent,” he declared.

The governor also praised Tinubu’s vision for the country, describing him as a political genius whose leadership and timely interventions have strengthened governance at all levels.

He assured the President that governors aligned with his administration would continue to champion and defend federal policies before Nigerians.

“We are proud to be your ambassadors at the subnational level. We are here to defend your policies, to push your message, and to let Nigerians know that we have come out from darkness and that the right light is now ready to shine,” Uzodinma said.

He further expressed confidence in the President’s ability to continue leading the nation through its current challenges, saying Nigerians have renewed hope under his administration.
