More Than A Game: The Ultimate Game Day Experience In Las Vegas
Planning on going to a Raiders game in Las Vegas but want to make a whole day out of it without moving your car or needing multiple rideshares? Or maybe you don’t have game tickets but want to catch the action close to the arena? Mandalay Bay and Luxor welcome all to the Fan District for the ultimate tailgating experience with tasty eats, refreshing cocktails, game viewing, live entertainment, and more.
The Blast recently spent a day checking out all the fun any football fan can have on a game day, and with an electric NFL season loading, now is the perfect time to start planning your very own touchdown experience.
Just a quick walk from Allegiant Stadium, Flanker inside Mandalay Bay is the place to pregame with some food and drinks or enjoy a postgame meal.
Not planning to go to the game but need a great spot to watch? Flanker is it! With a 30-foot LED screen, 50+ HDTVs with in-game audio, gameday platters and specials, and a menu full of tasty options, this spot has all you need to cheer on your team.
Whether it’s Raiders, other NFL games, or even college football, Flanker offers a fun atmosphere for sports fans.
Pop Over To BetMGM For A Behind-The-Book Experience
5While in Mandalay Bay, it’s easy to pop on over to the BetMGM Sportsbook to watch some sports action and place some bets, if that’s your thing.
With 17 large-screen TVs and tons of comfortable seats with individual monitors, plus VIP seating available in the enclosed VIP Luxury Box, this is the place to be for any sports enthusiast.
Take A Behind-The-Scenes Tour Of Allegiant Stadium
5Taking a behind-the-scenes tour of Allegiant Stadium is a great way to get even more hyped up about the game! They offer a few different tours, including the Countdown to Kickoff Pre-Gameday Tour, which The Blast took on Wednesday ahead of the Raiders vs. 49ers game on Thursday evening.
This tour takes you to places you might not otherwise get to experience, including the Raiderettes locker room, VIP areas, owner Mark Davis’ personal suite, the press conference room, and other great spots.
You also get a few different POVs of the field so if you’re trying to choose what section to buy tickets in, this is the perfect way to know what your view will be. You also get to walk onto the field at the end of the tour and take some really cool Instagram-worthy shots.
Time To Watch The Las Vegas Raiders In Action!
5A visit to Vegas during NFL season could mean heading to a Raiders game. Allegiant Stadium is a short and easy walk from Mandalay Bay, so if you’re pregaming at Flankers, BetMGM, Luxor, or other great spots nearby, you won’t have to deal with traffic and stadium parking fees.
Thursday night’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers was my first ever live NFL game. There’s something to be said about the energy inside Allegiant Stadium. Whether you’re a diehard fan or not, it’s really easy to let that energy grab you. While the Raiders ended up losing 18-12, it was a really good game and a great experience.
End The Night With A Snack, Drinks, And Perfect Strip Views At Vinyl Room
5After the game, a great spot to end your game day journey is the new Vinyl Room at Mandalay Bay.
According to their website, “We thoughtfully curated this space to be a destination where music, dining, and nightlife converge for an elevated, immersive experience. We drew inspiration from Japanese high-fidelity listening lounges, and added our own Vegas remix with sweeping Strip views in an intimate high-rise setting.”
And let’s talk about those views — AMAZING. The picture-perfect Strip and city views from Vinyl Room’s two balconies are not to be missed. It offers the perfect end to an exciting day in Sin City.
