Mercy Eke opens up on biggest misconceptions about her

Nigerian reality TV star Mercy Eke has spoken up regarding some of the misconceptions made about her. The media personality, while speaking with Toke Makinwa on Toke Moments, explained that many assumptions made about her are false.

Mercy spoke about her lifestyle and the rumours of her dating a married man. She revealed that she has been in a committed relationship for years, adding that her current partner is someone she sees herself settling down with.

”Coming out of the house now, I’ve been pushing myself, it’s not been easy, especially when people have perceptions about you. The one that everybody knows is, oh, someone is funding my lifestyle, that I’m dating a married man. Apart from being pregnant every week. I have been dating someone for four years. I’m still, mm-hmm, in that relationship. He keeps saying I’m not ready, I’m not ready. I don’t know what I’m doing that, that looks like I’m not ready,” Mercy said.

Mercy also revealed that she has been trusting God for a child, adding that becoming a mother is now her major priority.

“Right now, I want a baby. I have prayed, I have fasted,” she stated.
