Kennedy Ahanotu, the National Youth Leader of the Labour Party and presidential candidate of the Abure-led faction, has raised concerns over internal party administration and decision-making processes during the party’s rise ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking during an interview on KaaTruths on June 20, 2026, Ahanotu reflected on disputes that emerged within the party, particularly regarding campaign coordination and the allocation of key administrative responsibilities.
He argued that established party members should have played more prominent roles in sensitive party matters, given their years of commitment and experience.
