Popular Nigerian socialite and dancer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, has been remanded in a United Kingdom prison and will face trial over sexual assault allegations.

The Snaresbrook Crown Court in London confirmed the dancer’s prosecution on Tuesday.

Responding to media inquiries, the Court’s Admin Team Lead, James Baker, stated that the case is official and listed for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026.

“OFFICIAL. Good afternoon. I can confirm that this case is currently listed at Snaresbrook Crown Court for plea and trial preparation on the 15th September 2026,” Baker stated in the correspondence.

He added that while criminal hearings are open to the public, precise hearing times and courtroom details will not be available until the day before the trial.

Corroborating the court’s confirmation, Benjamin Kuti, founder of the Nigerian community in the UK, affirmed that Poco Lee is currently on remand in a UK prison facility.

“I can confirm that the reports are true. Poco Lee is currently on remand in a UK prison. His next court date is scheduled for the second week of September, when he is expected to have a plea hearing,” Kuti declared.

Kuti also announced his intention to be physically present at the Snaresbrook Crown Court proceedings to monitor the situation as part of his routine support for the Nigerian diaspora
