The 43-year-old musician shared the news in a video while addressing issues surrounding his “20 Years of Carter Classic Tour” and explaining why he missed the opening show in Maine.

During the video, Lil Wayne also addressed rumors about his relationship, revealing that he and Madi had decided to go their separate ways.

According to the rapper, the pair were never engaged despite widespread speculation that began circulating in May 2026.

Wayne explained that although they shared something special together, he chose to end the relationship because he did not want to become “such a burden on such an amazing person.”

He also opened up about his absence from the opening date of his tour, revealing that he had been battling severe migraines and concerns over the risk of seizures, making it unsafe for him to perform.
