Lady claims generosity keeps men trapped in relationships

A Nigerian lady has stirred debate online after sharing her views on why some men remain in relationships despite being taken for granted.

According to her, men who are generous and openly affectionate are often kept around not necessarily for who they are, but for what they provide.

She suggested that such traits can sometimes be exploited, with partners choosing to stay because of the benefits they receive.

She further argued that once a man becomes emotionally vulnerable, especially to the point of expressing deep attachment, it may shift the dynamics of the relationship in a way that puts him at a disadvantage.

Her words …

“The reason woman keep you inside that relationship na because they see you’re a good person, you dey give. Na that giving part make them still dey the relationship. Nothing them see in you, na that giving part them see wey make them no wan go. Them fit see who them like but them no go leave you based on say you dey give, you’re a giver. Na why them dey use you. Once woman notice say you are a giver and a lover boy eh, them go use it against you. Them no dey use eye see man wey get money or the one wey dey over love. Once you show woman say you love am eh, bro you’re a goner. Once you begin cry for woman eh, once she notice say you dey cry for am eh, you know which stage that one be? Na stage 152. Once you cry for woman she go know say this boy is a goner.”
