“Kuje Prison Feels Like A Vacation”- Sowore Makes Fresh Allegations Against Tinubu Government During IG Live

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has stirred reactions online after a live Instagram session in which he addressed his supporters while reportedly awaiting possible transfer to Kuje Correctional Centre.

During the livestream, Sowore compared his situation to that of Nigerians who have spent months in the hands of kidnappers and terrorist groups, stating that being sent to prison would pale in comparison to the suffering endured by those victims.

He also urged supporters not to feel sorry for him or engage in actions he would not approve of.

“Imagine people that had been in t£rror!st capt!vity for months now, sending me to Kuje pris0n now feels like a vacation. Please nobody should feel bad for me or do something I won’t be proud of.”

The activist further accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of attempting to influence the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Sowore, the government is allegedly taking steps that could undermine public confidence in the electoral process.

“Tinubu wants to do everything that’ll make him rig the 2027 election in a way that nobody will know he’s r!gging, that’s why he’s buying houses and cars for judges, he has embedded the justice of our court within the executive branch.”
