Keystone Bank Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria as it recently co-hosted a capacity-building session for entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
The programme, organized by the bank in conjunction with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), was designed to equip entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and tools to strengthen their operations and enhance long-term growth.
A statement by the bank on Monday said the sessions focused on key areas including credit and investment readiness, tax and regulatory compliance, and business scaling strategies.
The lender added that participants were exposed to insights aimed at improving their access to finance, strengthening operational structures and positioning their businesses for competitiveness in a dynamic economic environment.
Olayemi Sule, Group Head, Retail and Digital Banking at Keystone Bank, said the training reflects the bank’s deliberate strategy to empower SMEs beyond traditional financing.
SMEs remain the backbone of Nigeria’s economy, she noted, and access to finance alone isn’t enough, which is why Keystone Bank continues to invest in capacity-building initiatives covering business management, regulatory compliance, and investment readiness.
Beyond financing, the bank remains committed to strategic partnerships and innovative solutions that strengthen entrepreneurs and support long-term economic growth.
The partnership with NACCIMA and SMEDAN underscores the value of collaboration in building a resilient SME ecosystem, reflecting Keystone Bank’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s SME landscape through strategic collaborations that build enterprise capacity and strengthen competitiveness.
