Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Mercedes, has been evicted from the reality show, just days after emerging victorious in the Arena Games.

Mercedes, whose real name is Ijeoma Emi, was sent packing on Sunday night during the second live eviction show of the “Show Ya Sef” season, bringing her two-week journey in the BBNaija house to an abrupt end.

Her eviction comes as a surprise twist for a housemate who had recently enjoyed a major breakthrough in the competition by winning the Arena Games.

Mercedes was among the 24 contestants who entered the house at the beginning of the season, quickly establishing herself as one of the more noticeable personalities in the competition.

The 26-year-old entrepreneur from Delta State is a massage therapist and also runs a concierge business.

Beyond her business interests, Mercedes entered the reality show with a diverse range of talents and interests. She has been described as a performance artist, with singing and pole dancing among her skills.

She also revealed that she could sing opera, offering viewers another glimpse into her personality beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits.

Despite her growing visibility in the house, Mercedes’ BBNaija journey has now ended after just two weeks.

Her departure means the remaining housemates will continue their battle for the ₦160 million prize package, with the competition expected to become increasingly intense as the season progresses.

For Mercedes, the eviction marks an early end to a BBNaija adventure that had begun to give her a national platform for her businesses, entertainment interests and distinctive personality.

Her exit also underlines the unpredictable nature of the reality show, where a major victory in the Arena can be followed only days later by the disappointment of eviction.
