JUST IN: Fayose Alleges INEC Distributed Uncollected PVCs to APC in Ekiti Election [VIDEO]

The Ekiti governorship election has been hit by fresh controversy after allegations emerged from Isaac Fayose over the handling of Permanent Voter Cards by the Independent National Electoral Commission Independent National Electoral Commission.

Isaac Fayose, a public commentator and brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose Ayo Fayose, accused INEC officials of allowing uncollected PVCs to circulate in a way that allegedly benefits the All Progressives Congress All Progressives Congress during the ongoing governorship election.

He made the claim while reacting to reports from polling units across Ekiti State. The election is being contested between incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji Biodun Oyebanji of the APC and candidates of the opposition, including the Peoples Democratic Party Peoples Democratic Party.

In his statement, Isaac Fayose alleged widespread manipulation involving unclaimed voter cards. He also claimed vote buying was being facilitated through non-indigenes.

He said:
“No Opposition Party can win election in Nigeria, look at what INEC is doing in Ekiti, Inec is handing APC the voters cards that weren’t picked up, apc are now paying non indigens N20k to use those voters cards to vote for APC” -Issac Fayose

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission has not issued an official response to the claims at the time of filing this report.
