JMBAND brings live music to Greenwich group’s 32nd anniversary celebration
Jeremiah Music Band (JMBand) provided the live musical entertainment at Greenwich Bank’s anniversary dinner and awards ceremony as the financial institution marked its sixth anniversary alongside the 32nd anniversary of Greenwich Group.
The celebration, planned and coordinated by Magna Events, brought together executives, guests and stakeholders for an evening combining corporate recognition, music and entertainment at the Lagos Continental Hotel.
JMBand delivered a diverse repertoire spanning contemporary Nigerian sounds, familiar classics and popular songs, providing the musical backdrop to the evening and adding a lively dimension to the formal proceedings.
Guests responded to the performance with singing and dancing as the band moved between different musical styles, creating a balance between the formal nature of the awards ceremony and the celebratory atmosphere of the anniversary gathering.
The occasion came at a period of significant transformation for Greenwich. The financial services group has been expanding its operations following its transition from merchant banking towards regional commercial banking, with plans to broaden its reach and physical presence.
JMBand’s performance was supported by members of its wider creative team. QueenLine Media handled visual documentation, Smatt Fashion provided styling for the band, while Stixx Concept contributed to the creative direction of the performance.
Led by music director and entertainment entrepreneur Jeremiah Oluwatoke, JMBand has performed at corporate functions, weddings and major private celebrations, combining live instrumentation, vocals and a broad Nigerian repertoire.
The Greenwich anniversary celebration brought together recognition, entertainment and live music in marking another chapter in the evolution of the financial services group.
