The independent National Electoral Commission has announced extension of collection of Permanent Voter’s Card at registration areas across Osun State.

This was contained in a release signed by Head of Department, Voter Education, Publicity, Gender and Inclusivity, INEC Osun State, Ariyo Rufus, and sent to the media on Wednesday in Osogbo.

It may be recalled that the Commission commenced distribution of Permanent Voter Card at registration area level from Wednesday 22nd to Tuesday 28th July 2026.

INEC said, “During the exercise, a total number of 322,822 PVCs representing 62% of the available PVCs were collected.

“Having regard to complaints and large crowd at collection centres as well as other difficulties, the Commission has approved the extension of PVC collection at Registration Areas to Friday 31st July 2026 to enable more eligible voters to exercise their civic right. This is without prejudice to the collection of PVC at LGA level which will now commence from 1st – 7th August, 2026.

“Concerned Registered Voters are urged to take advantage of this window and collect their Permanent Voter Cards.”
