Indiana Man Arrested After Cutting Off His Penis and Setting It on Fire

An Indiana man has been arrested after allegedly cutting off his own p£nis and setting it on fire using gasoline and multiple lighters.

According to TMZ, the man, identified as Christopher Peden, allegedly told investigators that he entered a detached garage in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and amputated his genitals using a kitchen knife.

His attorney, David Feltz, told TMZ that Peden then placed the severed body part on the garage floor, poured gasoline over it from a container, and ignited it using four lighters.

According to police, the incident occurred on May 6, after emergency services received a report of a stabbing at a detached garage belonging to the property’s owners.

Authorities said the homeowners were awakened by a concerned neighbor who noticed the garage was on fire. They later realized that Peden, a family member, was no longer at the scene.

When Fort Wayne Police arrived, they found Peden, who initially claimed he had been stabbed by an unknown person in downtown Fort Wayne after being threatened the previous day.

However, after he was taken to the hospital, investigators said Peden admitted that his earlier account was false and confessed to injuring himself.

Following the investigation, Peden was taken to the Allen County Jail, where he was booked on a felony arson charge. His bond was set at $10,000, although a jail representative later confirmed that he is no longer in custody.

Attorney David Feltz said Peden is currently in stable condition while he gathers information to prepare his client’s defense. He added that he is looking into Peden’s mental state at the time of the alleged incident.
