I’m Planning To Leave My Marital Home, I’m Suffering Too Much — Angel Obinim
Controversial Ghanaian pastor Bishop Daniel Obinim has publicly declared that he is suffering in his marriage, announcing plans to relocate with his children to a newly acquired property in the upscale Trassaco estate in Accra.
In remarks that have since gone viral on social media, the founder and leader of International God’s Way Church made the disclosure in what appeared to be an emotionally charged address, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the current state of his marriage.
“I am suffering in my marriage, so I have bought a $400,000 house in Trassaco and I will be moving there with my children,” he said.
The statement has sparked widespread reaction across Ghana, drawing attention both to the personal troubles the flamboyant clergyman appears to be experiencing and to the significant financial outlay involved in the property acquisition.
Trassaco Valley is one of Accra’s most prestigious residential estates, known for its high-end villas and luxury facilities. A property valued at $400,000 in the estate places the acquisition firmly among the upper tier of residential investments in the country.
Bishop Obinim, who is married to popular Ghanaian gospel musician Florence Obinim, has previously been at the centre of several public controversies.
The latest disclosure has reignited conversations about the couple’s relationship, with many followers and observers expressing surprise at the public nature of his announcement.
Florence Obinim had not issued any public response to her husband’s remarks at the time of publication.
