I’m not lying, I have proof – Soja Boi responds after Nigerian Army denies his claims

Dismissed lance corporal, Rotimi Olamilekan a.k.a Soja Boi has reacted after the Nigerian Army dismissed statements he made during a recent podcast appearance.

The Army had earlier debunked his claims, describing them as false. However, Soja Boi has now returned online, insisting that his statements were factual and backed by evidence.

In a follow-up video, he presented what he described as payment receipts, detailing various components of his earnings, including salary, operational allowances, and other entitlements. He explained that some of these allowances are conditional and only paid when personnel are actively deployed for operations.

He maintained that his intention was not to discredit the Nigerian Army, but rather to share what he described as the reality of the situation. He also urged the public to verify his claims by speaking with individuals who have direct connections to the military.

He said in part …

“I been dey see some kind trends wey dey go online concerning the interview wey I do so I see say Nigerian Army the counter am say na lie. It’s not as if I’m trying to spoil the image of the Nigerian army or to make it look like they’re not good, no. I’m just speaking the facts and I will be backing it with evidence.

This receipt na my salary. This second one na that one wey I tell you be 20K. E get another one, operation allowance. If you dey Maiduguri or if them carry you go Maiduguri. If you no dey operation they no go pay you that one. If you go operation na him maybe they go pay you. That one na him you dey see [the receipt] for up, na 45K. E get another one, cigarette allowance that one na 6K. And the operation allowance and cigarette allowance if you no dey operation they no go pay you.

So if they talk say I dey lie concerning the uniform matter, if you get friend or relative for the army, call them and ask them if maybe I’m lying.”
