According to a report by Daily Trust News on Monday, June 8, 2026, Kachalla, the leader of the bandit group that kidnapped Major General Rabe (rtd) and his wife, Muhammadu Kachalla, has revealed that had his mother or father been arrested, he said he would have killed the general.
In a leaked audio recording obtained by Daily Trust, Kachalla said he had promised the general that he would release his wife, but the high rate of security operatives’ presence changed his mind.
