“If I date a man I’m richer than, I’ll control him” — Singer, Ayra Starr’s sister, Salt says

Salt, the sister of Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, has shared her thoughts on dating or marrying a man who earns less than her.

Speaking on the Wahala Podcast, Salt was asked if she would date or marry a man she is richer than.

“I will control him o,” she said.

When asked if she was serious, she doubled down, saying: “Yes, I will and I know myself. I am very self-aware, I will control you. Yes, I will control him because I am richer and I am saying the truth.”

Salt also said that even if she were richer than her partner, she would still expect him to provide financially.

“Even though I am richer, he will still be providing,” she said.

She added that she would deliberately keep the extent of her wealth from him.

“He wouldn’t even know I have a lot of money because I will not make him know that,” she said, adding that “he will be fine.”
