“I Tried 10 Businesses Before Starting My Dry-Cleaning Company”- Nana Otedola

Businesswoman and philanthropist Nana Otedola has shared the story of her entrepreneurial journey, revealing that she explored several business ideas before eventually establishing the dry-cleaning company that brought her success.

Speaking about her experience, Nana disclosed that she ventured into nearly ten different businesses in search of the right path. She also revealed that she once considered taking up a job as an administrative staff member, but her husband, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, did not support the idea.

According to her, she also experimented with trading but later realized it wasn’t the right fit. After assessing the market, she identified a gap in Lagos and decided to focus on providing dependable laundry and dry-cleaning services.

Sharing her story, she said:

“I tried about 10 different businesses before I started my dry-cleaning company. I even wanted to work as an admin staff, but Femi Otedola wouldn’t allow it. 😂 I also tried trading, but I stuck with dry cleaning because I felt Lagos needed a reliable laundry service.”

The businesswoman’s revelation offers a glimpse into the challenges she faced before discovering the venture that would eventually become her breakthrough.
