I Saw Peter Obi Arguing For Discount At A Hotel In Abuja When He Was Anambra Governor -Prof Pat Utomi

In an interview with Atlanta Discuss Channel, Professor Pat Utomi stated that Peter Obi is a very prudent person and he did not mismanage public resources while serving as governor of Anambra State.

Utomi said he has known Obi for many years. He said he once saw Obi, while he was governor, negotiating for a discount at a hotel in Abuja

Utomi said Nigeria needs leaders who are as prudent as Obi because many people now see public office as an opportunity to live lavishly at the expense of citizens.

In Utomi’s words: “You know I have seen Peter Obi arguing for discount as governor at Rock View hotel in Abuja. His mates would take up half of the 10th floor of the Transcorp Hilton with public resources. So that for me is very important at this stage in Nigeria’s history where people think that going into government is to go and live it up at the expense of the people.
