“I realized something”- Lady shares encounter at POS stand

‎A Nigerian lady has shared her heartbreaking encounter with a teenager at a Point Of Sale (POS) stand.

‎Identified as @Deseiye on X, (formerly Twitter), the lady disclosed that the teenager walked up and handed ₦500 to the POS agent.

‎According to the lady’s account, the teenager appealed to the POS agent to deposit the money to his mother.

‎However, upon the POS agent inquiring about his mother’s whereabouts, the teenager confessed that she was ill, and the doctor insisted on payment before commencing treatment.

‎Meanwhile, the crowd was left speechless for a moment, while a woman inquired how much the treatment cost, resulting in donations.

Reflecting on the incident, she stated, “That day, I realized something, In Nigeria, people are struggling, but they still show up for one another”.
