“I need a PA/house help who is a reflection of me and ready to f!ght if I get into a serious f!ght” — Internet personality and Musician Speed Darlington
Nigerian internet personality and musician Speed Darlington has revealed the unusual requirements he wants from a personal assistant who will also work as his house help.
In a video shared online, Speed said he wants someone who thinks like him and is essentially a “reflection” of him.
He said the person must be under 25, preferably between 20 and 24, unmarried and without children. He also wants someone who has a NIN and driver’s licence, adding that being able to drive would be an advantage.
Speed further said he wants a “soft boy” with smooth skin rather than someone with a tough appearance, explaining that he does not want a bodyguard but wants someone who can be “gallant” when necessary.
According to him, the person should also be willing to help him if he gets into a serious f!ght, saying he wants someone who would be ready to stand by him.
He added that the successful applicant would assist with housework after shows and would be paid ₦100,000.
Speed also expressed frustration over his difficulty finding a suitable person, claiming that some people he contacted for interviews failed to show up after making arrangements with him.
He recounted how one prospective applicant allegedly claimed he could not find the hotel where they were supposed to meet for an interview, leaving him angry after he had stopped looking for other candidates.
Speed said he is still looking for someone interested in the ₦100,000-per-month position and urged only serious applicants to contact him.
