“I love being a foreigner in Nigeria, it comes with a lot of love and respect” — Pakistani man shares experience of living in Nigeria

A Pakistani man based in Nigeria has shared his experience of living in the country, praising Nigerians for the warm reception and respect he has received as a foreigner.

In a video shared online, the man said he enjoys being a foreigner in Nigeria, particularly because of how welcoming Nigerians can be.

According to him, speaking Pidgin helps foreigners connect with Nigerians and makes interactions feel more natural.

He said people often become even friendlier when they realise that a foreigner can speak Pidgin and relate with them in the same way they would with other Nigerians.

He also praised Nigerians for their hospitality and asked viewers whether they would be able to tell from his voice alone that he is a foreigner.
