I know he will be thanking God for seeing the signs on time – Nigerian lady shares encounter with ex-boyfriend years after she slept with his friend and gave him an infection

A Nigerian woman, Sandra Chika, has shared an account of an unexpected encounter with a former boyfriend years after their relationship ended following infidelity and a reported infection.

In a Facebook post, Sandra said she had been dating the man when she became involved with one of his friends, claiming she was unaware at the time that the two men knew each other. According to her, her boyfriend’s behaviour subsequently changed, although she initially did not understand why.

“There was this guy I dated years back, he later started behaving somehow after finding out that I f**k his friend,” she wrote. Sandra said the man gradually stopped communicating with her as frequently as before and eventually asked her to collect some belongings she had left at his home.

She claimed that after several unanswered calls, she visited him and was told that he was no longer interested in continuing their relationship. According to Sandra, the man also told her that he had contracted an infection from her. She said she had been experiencing symptoms herself and later sought treatment.

“After I visited he told me that he is no longer interested, that he contacted infection from me which I didn’t argue cause I was also having some symptoms,” she wrote. Sandra said she subsequently went to a chemist for injections and did not return to her former boyfriend because she felt ashamed about what had happened. She added that she did not know who had initially transmitted the infection.

Years later, Sandra said she unexpectedly encountered her former boyfriend while out for drinks. According to her, he was accompanied by his wife and three children when they saw each other. She said his reaction to seeing her amused her, writing: “He saw me smoking.”

Reflecting on how their lives had changed since the relationship ended, Sandra added: “I know he will be thanking God in his mind for seeing the signs on time. Who cares?” Sandra did not identify the former boyfriend or disclose the type of infection she said they experienced.
