I don’t love Yvonne Jegede anymore, but I caused our breakup – ex-husband

Nollywood actor Olakunle Fawole, popularly known as Abounce, has opened up on his failed marriage to actress Yvonne Jegede, admitting that he was responsible for the breakup.

Abounce made the revelation during his appearance on the latest episode of WithChude, hosted by media personality Chude Jideonwo.

The actor said he no longer has romantic feelings for Yvonne, but still respects her as the mother of his son.

“I don’t love her anymore, but if she’s ever in trouble, I’m stepping in,” he said.

Abounce and Yvonne got married in 2017, but the marriage crashed two years later.

After the separation, Yvonne had claimed in an interview that she contributed more financially to the marriage.

She also alleged that there were times Abounce was not interested in seeing their son and that he continued to hold a grudge against her while she was pregnant.

Speaking on the podcast, Abounce revealed that after his marriage ended, he entered another relationship, but that also failed.

He admitted that he was to blame for the failed relationship.

According to him, after the breakup, he redirected his energy into physical exercise and started going to the gym.

Despite the collapse of their marriage and the public claims that followed, Abounce maintained that he still has regard for Yvonne because of their child.

His comment has now reopened conversations around the former couple’s marriage, their separation, and the responsibilities that come after divorce.
