‘How ADC will dislodge APC from Zamfara in 2027’

By Ishaq ‌‌Zaki

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara, Kabiru Garba, has expressed confidence that the party is capable of dislodging the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2027 general elections.

Garba who stated this while speaking to journalists in Gusau on Friday insisted that ADC had what it takes to unseat APC and take over in Zamfara State in 2027.

He noted that considering the party’s popularity, strength, and unity in the state, “it is capable of removing the APC from power in Zamfara in the 2027 general elections.

“The ADC is capable of winning elections at all political levels in Zamfara, even if we are to cast votes tomorrow.

“Our party is gaining more popularity among the electorate in Zamfara because people at the grassroots have confidence in the party’s manifesto,” Garba said.

According to him, the party is already united, organised, and ready for 2027, with “Zamfara First” as its guiding principle.

He urged ADC candidates and supporters in the state to remain focused, disciplined, and peaceful and engage directly with the electorate and listen to their concerns.

Garba also charged party officials to avoid insults, provocation, and the spread of unverified information as regards issues related to the party.

“The ADC in Zamfara will continue to defend the legitimate mandates of its candidates, engage relevant institutions, and mobilise across the state ahead of the 2027 elections.

“The party’s structure in the state remains committed to the provisions of the law.

“The ADC political agenda will place emphasis on security, quality education, healthcare, agricultural development, employment opportunities, infrastructure, women and youth empowerment, as well as transparency and accountability in governance,” he said.
