According to a report by The Punch on Sunday, June 21, 2026, wild celebrations have broken out in Igboho community, Oyo State, following the sudden release of an abducted family, which included a pregnant woman, her children, and a sibling.

The victims were reportedly freed shortly after a strict two-hour ultimatum was issued by popular Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, well known as Sunday Igboho.
