Yahaya Mika’il, a victim of the ethno-religious crisis in Bassa Local Government Area, has spoken about how gunmen attacked him

In a video shared by Trust TV, Yahaya said he was grazing his cattle when gunmen suddenly attacked him and the animals. He explained that the gunmen shot many of the cattle during the incident. He stated that about 46 of his cattle were killed during the attack and the gunmen also shot him in the leg, leaving him seriously injured.

Yahaya said that because of the injury, he had to sell the remaining cattle he had in order to pay for medical treatment for his leg. He explained that after losing his cattle and spending money on treatment, life has become very difficult for his family.
