GOOD NEWS: Christians, Muslims and Traditionalists Unite in Prayer Over Oyo School Abduction

According to a report by Daily Post on Saturday, June 20, 2026, religious leaders from the Christian, Muslim and traditional faiths have joined residents of Ibadan in offering prayers for the safe release of students and teachers abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The interfaith prayer session was organised by the Omo Aj’orosun Club, Ibadan, as part of activities marking the group’s 46th anniversary. The organisers said the gathering was also aimed at seeking divine intervention over the growing security challenges facing Ibadan, Oyo State and the country.

Speaking at the event, the club’s President, Mogaji Kamaldeen Adeniyi Salaudeen, said the continued captivity of the victims made it impossible to celebrate without remembering them in prayer.......>>
