A wildfire is not strong enough to compete with the flames of George Clooney and Amal’s burning love.
The power couple recently faced difficult times after their home in France was victim to the dangerous wildfires that plagued the southern region.
Luckily, the Clooneys were able to make it out in time, months after the veteran actor turned 65 in a lavish celebration.
About a month after George and Amal were forced to evacuate their property in Brignoles, France, the duo were spotted in Lake Como, Italy.
The lovebirds looked radiant during their date night in matching white outfits while attending an event at Villa Passalacqua.
The “Ocean’s Twelve” actor defied his older age in a smart casual monochrome look comprising a simple tee and matching pants and loafers. He accessorized with a silver watch and a pair of aviator glasses, letting his signature grey roots complete the style.
The human rights activist, however, stole the show in a slinky silk gown with a plunging neckline that teased her cleavage. Amal styled her full tresses into a side part, accessorizing with dangling statement earrings and chunky bracelets
As seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail, George and Amal looked every bit the happy couple with the lawyer holding a small bouquet handed to her upon disembarking the boat. At some point, the pair held hands while interacting with guests.

5The stylish evening out is a breath of fresh air for the Clooneys after they evacuated their Brignoles home, where they raise their 9-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.
According to The Blast, George and Amal were displaced from their luxury estate in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and wrote to the mayor about the situation.
Mourning the possible loss of their home amid their departure, the letter read, “At this point, we have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment.”
Nevertheless, the couple stated that their priority remains the safety of their community and helping whichever way they can. “We love Brignoles and our friends who live there,” they concluded.

5The heartbreaking evacuation followed a happy time for the couple after the actor marked quite the milestone, turning 65.
During their attendance at the King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Royal Albert Hall in London, George dished on how Amal made his special day memorable.
As The Blast reported, the attorney went all out, even surprising George by making some of his famous friends pose as waiters.
Reflecting on the celebration with humor, the “Jay Kelly” actor joked, “It’s a dangerous thing to surprise someone when they turn 65 because you could drop. You know, that could be the end of you, so you have to be very careful when you surprise people.

5After being Hollywood’s leading bachelor for decades, George dropped the crown in 2014 when he tied the knot with Amal. Ever since, the pair has been growing strong, influencing even what roles the actor takes.
Last year, George rocked the media waves when he revealed his decision to no longer kiss women on screen, in devotion to his family life, after reaching heights in his career.
“I’ve been trying to go the route Paul Newman did: ‘OK, well, I’m not kissing a girl anymore,” he said, per The Blast. “When I turned 60, I had a conversation with my wife.”
George recalled that the discussion centered around him aging maturely and having the financial security to be picky with roles.

As reported by The Blast, Clooney revealed he is pitching Callum Turner, singer Dua Lipa’s husband, to be the next James Bond.
Defending his choice, the four-time Golden Globe winner praised Turner’s acting skills in “The Boys in the Boat,” a 2023 movie produced and directed by George.
“I hope Callum ends up being the next Bond. I think he would be a great Bond. He’s tall and handsome and charming and British, so he’s the perfect guy to do it,” he said.
