Funnybone challenges belief in divine retribution

Nigerian comedian Stanley Chibunna, popularly known as Funnybone, has challenged the popular belief on karma, stating that wrong doers do not necessarily face consequences.

The media personality, while speaking via his social media platform, questioned the belief that individuals who commit wrongdoing will eventually be punished.

Funnybone argued that prior to popular belief and expectations, being good does not always guarantee a reward.

“Karma is outdated. Nothing will happen to the people who wronged you; bad people actually outlive the good ones. Nobody is necessarily paying for their wrongdoing. Being good is a choice; it doesn’t always come with a reward. Choose a side and stick to it. The world will not stop rotating because someone wronged you, and the person who wronged you won’t necessarily stop doing well because they wronged you,” he said.
