FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette, put up a public display of affection during the 34th convocation ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) today, June 6, 2026.

The moment occurred mid-lecture while the Minister addressed the convocation gallery. Justice Suzzette stepped onto the podium to gently wipe sweat from her husband’s face and adjust his ceremonial cap. She then whispered words of praise for his delivery, prompting a warm round of applause from the gathered dignitaries, academics, and students.
