Ex-Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola Reacts To Mammoth Crowd That Converged At ADC Mega Rally

Rauf Aregbesola, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former governor of Osun State has taken to his official X handle to share heartfelt footages of the mammoth crowd that gathered at the recently concluded mega rally in the ancient town of Ile-Ife.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Tuesday July 21st, 2026 he pointed out that it was an honor to lead those who expressed unwavering support for the ADC.

The mega rally was part of the party’s preparation for the forthcoming general elections in 2027, with the ADC confident of upsetting the ruling APC in the polls.

The African Democratic Congress, it can be recalled, had strengthened its ranks following the departure of several political heavyweights, including the former governors of Anambra and Kano States, Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso respectively.

The mega rally in the ancient kingdom of Ile-Ife, Osun State as expected, attracted several individuals from different parts of the country, a turnout which left many stunned.

Rauf Aregbesola, while acknowledging the immense support received by the party, pointed out that the huge crowd that gathered at the mega rally were passionate individuals.
