Eric Trump Reveals Gold Eagle Logo For Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach
Eric Trump has unveiled a gold-themed logo for the proposed renaming of Palm Beach International Airport, offering the clearest visual indication yet of how the project linked to Donald Trump could be publicly branded.
The design, shared on X, presents the airport under the proposed name “President Donald J. Trump International Airport” and features a distinctly Trump-style aesthetic—gold tones, patriotic imagery and prominent lettering.
“For the first time, I am extremely proud to share the OFFICIAL logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida,” Eric Trump wrote while posting the image online.
Gold Branding And Symbolism
The logo centres around a golden eagle carrying a shield decorated with stars and stripes, accompanied by olive branches beneath. Surrounding the emblem are twelve gold stars framing the proposed airport title.
The design closely mirrors branding elements long associated with Trump properties and political imagery, reinforcing the effort to link the airport’s identity directly with the president’s public persona.
Eric Trump described the proposal as a deserved tribute to his father, adding that he looked forward to aircraft eventually landing at “DJT” in the future.
Airport Renaming Moves Forward
The branding rollout follows recent approval by Palm Beach County commissioners of both the logo and a trademark agreement connected to the renaming effort. According to reports, the measure passed by a narrow 4–3 margin, reflecting divisions over the proposal.
Earlier this year, Ron DeSantis signed legislation supporting the airport’s renaming in honour of Trump. The airport is located roughly four miles from Mar-a-Lago, the president’s private residence and political base in Florida. The law is expected to formally take effect on July 1.
Code Change Proposal Still Pending
While the airport name is set for transition, officials have clarified that the airport’s existing three-letter aviation code will remain unchanged for now. Separately, Republican Congressman Brian Mast has proposed changing the airport code to “DJT,” directly referencing Trump’s initials.
However, that proposal has yet to advance further through the legislative process. Airport identifier codes are typically regulated through broader aviation coordination mechanisms, making such changes more procedurally complex than a renaming measure alone.
