Donald Trump Printed ‘Trump 2028’ Hats Since Christmas, Fox News Host Reveals

Donald Trump has long been spreading his “Trump 2028” agenda long before he revealed it at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner days ago.

A recent revelation by Fox News host Jessica Tarlov confirmed that the president already created merch for his proposed fourth term as at last year.

However, the liberal political commentator isn’t buying whatever the Republican leader is selling, even if he wraps it as a joke to save media ratings.

During a recent appearance on MeidasTouch, Tarlov opened up about her decision not to become friendly with the president even though he once gave her a gift.

“When people say that about Trump, like ‘Oh, you’d be so charmed.’ I’m just not interested in it. I think it’s a lot safer, frankly, to stay away from it,” she stated.

Defending her choice, Tarlov recalled, “For Christmas, for instance, he customized Trump 2028 hats for me, and you know said something like, ‘Thank you for your great support.’ And I get it that it’s funny for a cheap laugh.”

However, the media personality believes it is beyond jokes for the president, whom she thinks will do everything in his power to remain a world leader. “I’m not really interested in palling around or playing nice,” she added.

Despite not being Trump’s ally, Tarlov isn’t necessarily an enemy, as she is convinced it is possible to have political disagreements without resorting to hatred.

Citing Zohran Mandani’s November 2025 visit to the White House to see Trump, the journalist noted that the New York Mayor got monetary investment in his city in exchange for the photo op.

However, Mandani didn’t allow that to override his morals, as he didn’t bother to smile for the cameras. As for whether she could follow in Mandani’s footsteps, Tarlov joked that she wasn’t great at hiding her feelings.

Tarlov’s revelation comes just days after Trump made headlines for his controversial speech at the WHCD. As The Blast reported, he made a tongue-in-cheek moment about running for a fourth term even though he is just in his second term.

“To show just how much I care about the press, and because I want to save your ratings, I’m pleased to announce my intention to run for a fourth term as President of the United States,” he shared with the crowd filled with journalists and fellow politicians.

In a shocking move, “The Apprentice” alum pulled out a red cap with the words, “Trump 2028,” wearing it to eruptions of cheers and confusion from the audience.

The President Says He Has Won Three Times

According to Trump, his desire to go for another term isn’t unfounded.

He backed up his declaration with claims that he has won the presidential elections three times, referring to his conviction that he beat Joe Biden in the 2020 elections.

“It’s a rigged election, but we don’t have to talk about it,” Trump reiterated to the media, before turning on them, threatening them that their relevance would diminish once he was no longer president.

Trump’s claim about his political ambition wasn’t the only outrageous statement the commander-in-chief made at the WHCD.

According to The Blast, while taking jabs at Democratic senator Chuck Schumer, the president insinuated that being a Palestinian was derogatory. Speaking about Schumer, Trump claimed the New York politician had gone from being “100% for Israel” to becoming a “very proud Palestinian.”

This is not the first time Trump has attacked Schumer, once calling him “horrible” and accusing him of registering as a Palestinian.

Their feud dates back to 2016, prior to Trump’s first Presidential run, when he alleged that he shared a close relationship with the senator in an interview. However, Schumer rejected the notion of a friendship, claiming, “He was not my friend. We never went golfing together, even had a meal together. He’s called me; we’ve had civil conversations a couple of times.”

Things have since escalated between both parties, with Trump once accusing Schumer of extortion on social media.
