The dollar to naira exchange rate at the Lagos Parallel Market, popularly known as the black market, stood at ₦1,415 per dollar for selling and ₦1,406 per dollar for buying on Friday, July 24, 2026, according to Bureau De Change (BDC) sources.
It is important to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognise the parallel market. The apex bank has consistently advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange to obtain it through authorised commercial banks and other approved financial institutions.
