Court remands three over m8rder of popular Kano social media commentator

A Kano Shari’a Court sitting at Kofar Kudu has remanded three men in a correctional centre over the m8rder popular Kano social media commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu.
The Kofar Kudu Upper Sharia Court ordered the remand of Aliyu Adamu, Salihu Haruna and Sani Muhammad until November 17, 2026.
The police arraigned the defendants before the court, presided over by Justice Ibrahim Sarki Yola, on allegations of conspiracy and culpable homicide.
The defendants were accused of invading the residence of Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu in Gaida Quarters of Kumbotso LGA of Kano, at about 11pm on September 8, 2026, where they allegedly k!lled him by slitting his throat.
The three defendants pleaded not guilty to the all charges.
Following the proceedings, the court ordered that they be remanded in a correctional centre and adjourned the case until November 17, 2026, for continuation of hearing.
