Congo Massacre: Hema-Lendu Ethnic Clashes Leave 69 Dead In Ituri Province

The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, commonly known as MONUSCO, said on April 30 that it had rescued nearly 200 civilians trapped during fighting linked to the CRP assault. The UN mission also warned that dozens of civilians had recently been killed across conflict-hit areas of Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu provinces.
