Community in Shock as Teen Girl Allegedly K!lled by Stepfather After Assaulting Her

A teenage girl has reportedly died following an alleged assault by her stepfather at Domeabra, a community near Agona Ahanta in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.

The tragic incident is said to have occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, near A&B School.

According to preliminary reports, the victim lived with her stepfather, who is reported to be an ex-convict, and her aunt.

Reports indicate that the stepfather allegedly restrained the girl and repeatedly assaulted her, leaving her in a critical condition.

Two residents, a man and a woman who were on their way to their farm in the early hours of the morning, reportedly discovered the girl crawling on the ground while crying for help.

The witnesses said the teenager allegedly identified her stepfather as the person responsible for her condition and warned that he could still be nearby.

They reportedly untied her and attempted to take her to a medical facility for treatment.

However, before they could leave the area, the stepfather allegedly emerged from hiding, overpowered the two rescuers, and took the girl away.

The witnesses then rushed to a nearby fire service station to report the incident and seek assistance.

According to reports, when they returned with other people, they found the girl had suffered severe injuries.

She was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.

The incident has left residents of the community shocked and saddened.

Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case and establish the full facts of the incident.
